Making Movies was formed in 2009 by singer/guitarist Enrique Chi and his brother, bassist Diego Chi, who were born and raised in Panama, and came to Kansas City as children. The Chi brothers enlisted JuanCarlos Chaurand and Brenden Culp on percussion/keys and drums respectively.
